Burgundy red roller garage doors
Made to measure at our factory in Sunderland, on the 55mm or 77mm insulated aluminium profile. Burgundy red isn’t one of our four standard colours, so it comes with a small surcharge over white, anthracite grey, black or dark brown.
Why choose burgundy red?
A burgundy red roller garage door suits period stone and sandstone properties, honey coloured brick, and homes where cream or stone render is the main finish. It's a traditional, characterful colour rather than a modern one, and it works particularly well if your front door or window trim is already a similar deep red or maroon.
A colour you order in, not one we keep on the shelf
Burgundy red isn’t kept in stock the way white, anthracite grey, black and dark brown are. It’s powder coated to order, which is why it carries a small surcharge and a slightly longer lead time than the four standard colours.
It’s a deep, dark red rather than anything bright or orange toned, closer to a wine or claret shade than a fire engine red. It suits older properties and period features more naturally than new build brick or render, and it’s a popular match for anyone with an existing burgundy or deep red front door.
A deep wine red rather than a bright or orange toned red. Colour matched to order rather than a fixed stock swatch, exact shade to be confirmed.

Why consider a burgundy red roller garage door?
Colour matching, maintenance, and availability at a glance.
Burgundy red works best against sandstone, honey coloured brick, cream render and natural stone. It suits period and character properties more than modern new builds, and it’s a natural match if your front door, window frames or brickwork already lean toward a similar deep red or maroon tone.
As a dark colour, burgundy red takes on more heat from direct sun than white or anthracite grey, in the same way black does, though this doesn’t cause warping on the aluminium profile. Red pigments can also fade a little faster under strong, direct sunlight than blacks, greys or whites, so a door that gets full sun most of the day may need refreshing sooner than one in a more UV stable shade.
Burgundy red is powder coated to order rather than kept in stock, so it takes longer to turn around than the four standard colours and carries a surcharge on top of the base door price. Confirm the current lead time and cost when you enquire, since both depend on the size and profile you need.
Available on both the 55mm insulated aluminium profile and the 77mm insulated aluminium profile, as a non-stock colour. It carries a surcharge over the four standard colours rather than being included at no extra cost.
