2. The Data We Collect About You

  • Identity & Contact Data: Your first name, last name, email address, phone number, billing address, and installation postcode.
  • Project Data: Information regarding your property, including rough measurements, clearance dimensions, and uploaded photographs of your garage opening.
  • Financial Data: Details necessary to process your payments. Please note: All card transactions are handled securely via our payment gateway (Stripe). We do not view, collect, or store your credit or debit card details on our servers.
  • Technical & Usage Data: Your IP address, browser type, and anonymous data regarding how you use and navigate our website (collected via Google Analytics).

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your data in the following circumstances:

  • To perform a contract: To process your order, manufacture your custom door, and carry out our Supply & Fit or Supply Only services.
  • To manage your warranty: To keep a record of your purchase to honour our 5-year automation warranty.
  • For legitimate business interests: To reply to your enquiries, provide customer support, and route your quote requests to our internal sales team.
  • For website analytics: To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve our digital experience.

Note on Marketing: We do not currently use automated third-party email marketing platforms. If we contact you, it will be directly from our team regarding your specific enquiry or order.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We only share your data with trusted third-party service providers who are strictly necessary to help us run our business and provide our services to you:

  • The Hosting Heroes: Our secure website hosting provider.
  • Stripe: Our secure payment processing gateway.
  • Internal Workflow Automations: We use secure automation tools to route your contact form submissions and project details directly into our internal administrative databases (such as Google Sheets or Notion) so our team can manage your quote efficiently.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): Used to monitor anonymous website traffic and performance.

5. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for.

By default, we keep customer order records and contact details for 7 years. This ensures we have your details on file to fully support your 5-year warranty claims, and allows us to satisfy standard UK tax and legal accounting requirements. After this period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Our website uses functional and analytical cookies to ensure the site works properly and to track anonymous user behaviour.

  • Functional Cookies: Necessary for the website to function (e.g., remembering the details in your door builder configuration before checkout).

Box type

We offer two different box types for our domestic doors:

Full box

  • The Look: Completely encloses the roll in a sleek aluminum housing.
  • The Benefit: Protects the motor and curtain from dust, grit, and nesting birds. It’s also a vital safety barrier if you use your garage for storage or as a workshop.
  • Verdict: Choose this for a "clean" professional finish and maximum longevity.

Half box

  • The Look: An L-shaped fascia that covers the front and top. The back of the roll remains visible from inside the garage.
  • The Benefit: Saves on cost while still providing a neat appearance from the driveway.
  • Verdict: Best if you are on a budget and don't mind seeing the mechanism from inside the garage.

How to measure for your door

We manufacture your door based on the "Daylight" size (the actual hole in the wall). Measurements must be taken viewing the opening from the inside looking out.

Step 1: The Width

Measure the width between the brickwork at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest measurement.

Step 2: The Height

Measure from the internal floor to the underside of the lintel. Ensure the floor is level.

Step 3: Right space

Measure space from opening to the first obstacle.

Step 4: Left space

Measure space from opening to the first obstacle.

Step 5: Headroom

Headroom from the start of the lintel and lowest part of the ceiling.

Installation options

Option A - Face fix

Fixing internally behind the opening.

Clearance requirements

  • 77mm Slat: Needs 300mm above the lintel.
  • 55mm Slat: Needs 205mm above the lintel.
  • Sideroom: You need 90mm on each side for the guide rails for fixing behind the openings

Side profile

Please note that when the roller door is fully open, the bottom slat will always hang down by approximately 70mm from the top of the guide rails.
