Green roller garage doors
Made to measure at our factory in Sunderland, on the 55mm or 77mm insulated aluminium profile. Green isn’t one of our four standard colours, so it comes with a small surcharge over white, anthracite grey, black or dark brown.
Why choose green?
A green roller garage door suits period brick homes, cottages and rural properties where a bold or bright colour would look out of place. It works especially well against natural stone, red brick and dark timber, and it pairs with black or dark brown trim rather than anything lighter.
A colour you order in, not one we keep on the shelf
Green isn’t kept in stock the way white, anthracite grey, black and dark brown are. It’s powder coated to order, which is why it carries a small surcharge and a slightly longer lead time than the four standard colours.
The shade we offer is a muted, slightly dark green rather than a bright racing green or lime tone, closer to the sort of green you’d see on a period front door or a set of estate railings than anything modern or bold. If you’re trying to match an existing gate, fence or door in a specific shade, mention it when you enquire and we’ll confirm whether we can get close to it.
A muted, dark green rather than a bright or lime tone. Colour matched to order rather than a fixed stock swatch, exact shade to be confirmed.

Why consider a green roller garage door?
Colour matching, maintenance, and availability at a glance.
Green works best against natural stone, red brick and dark timber cladding, and it suits period properties and rural settings more than modern render or new build brick. It pairs with black or dark brown trim rather than white or grey, since a lighter trim tends to fight with the colour rather than complement it.
As a darker colour, green takes on more heat from direct sun than white or anthracite grey, though this doesn’t cause warping on the aluminium profile. It hides mud and general grime well, similar to black, though watermarks can show more in bright light.
Green is powder coated to order rather than kept in stock, so it takes longer to turn around than the four standard colours and carries a surcharge on top of the base door price. Confirm the current lead time and cost when you enquire, since both depend on the size and profile you need.
Available on both the 55mm insulated aluminium profile and the 77mm insulated aluminium profile, as a non-stock colour. It carries a surcharge over the four standard colours rather than being included at no extra cost.
